What's crackin' SWOLEdiers?!

 

MANdler here from the SWOLEdier Nation...

 

We've been going at it like crazy for the last 4 weeks at the MAN Cave and are at the beginning of a much needed De-Load week...

 

Well, I decided I'd kick it off right by doing something I always tell y'all to do, but I never get to do myself...that's sleep!!!

 

After that I felt so good I made myself a nice MANamorphosis approved meal and went to the Vinyl Record store to work on my record collection (fast becoming my new obsession!)...

 

Now, the thing about vinyl records is that they produce a quality of sound that is far better than any other device out there! 

 

Cassette players, CD players, MP3 Players and I-Pods...none compare to the quality of music that comes from a record player!!! Plus, they're cool and make you seem way ooler than you really are! (Guilty....)

 

So if they were/are producing such better quality of music, then why were they phased out?

 

Because in pursuit of perfection, sometimes we turn our back on what was already working for us from the start...

 

Yes, you can make the argument that the other players are more efficient, but you NEVER want to sacrifice quality for the simple sake of efficiency...

 

How does this apply to us when it comes to achieving our goals in the gym, in business, or in life? 

 

Simple...Although we always want to be on the look out to find something that will be more efficient at helping us toward our goals, we must NEVER forget how we achieved the success to that point...

 

Don't F*CK with what got you there!!! Sometimes in our endless pursuit of perfecting our ways, we come full circle and realize the best methods were the ones we were already implementing!

 

So do yourself a favor, be open to new ideas, but don't shit on the methods that led to your success to this point!!!
