He Called me a "Retard"...

What's Crackin' SWOLEdiers?!
If you didn't get the news last night, I'm running
a sale on my brand new Bench Press program that
I JUST finished up for you!
======>>>>>Bench Like A Badass (<---learn to up your 1 Rep Max)
First off, don't be offended by the headline...
I wasn't the one who belted the word out. It was belted
out AT ME!!!
By whom you might ask???
The same dude that has coached some of the strongest
people on earth...Dave Tate.
Why did he call me that?
Simple. Three years ago when I was lucky enough to get a
personal invite from Dave to his Underground Strength
Seminar, I asked him on the spot to give me an impromptu
bench tutorial...
What followed was a beautiful combination of embarrassment
and enlightenment....
For 5 minutes he worked on nothing but my "arch"...
And let me tell you, that was NOT fun or comfortable...
Usually when you are doing something painful and/or
uncomfortable, you have someone that will be kind and
considerate enough to encourage you with words of kindness...
Not Dave Tate...
He's old school...DEFINITELY not the cheerleader type...
So after 5 minutes or so of him doing his best to make sure I was
as uncomfortable as possible, he was finally satisfied with my "arch"...
At this point I hadn't even touched the bar yet was sweating my nuts
off! Mind you this was in a warehouse in Ohio...in the winter...with no
central heating...
As I took a few seconds to give my body a rest, he smiled and said
something I'll never forget...
"Bet you didn't think the Bench Press was that difficult, did you
retard?!"
I laughed, but knew EXACTLY what he was talking about...
All of us think that the Bench Press is a very simple lift...
But the truth is, it's extremely complex with countless cues and "to do's"
you must follow in order to lift the weights that you want...

How important is proper form alone?
How much can it increase your bench in just one 5 minute coaching
tutorial?
Well, I left for Ohio three years ago having been stalled at 385 lbs. on the
bench press for over a year...
When I came back I was benching 415 lbs. with relative ease and speed!
Now, imagine if you learned the same thing as well as the OTHER tricks that
allow you to increase your 1 Rep Max (periodization and "weak point
training")...
You no longer have to be frustrated about your bench press...
As a matter of fact, right now you should feel extremely excited about
the opportunity that is facing you!!!
Take advantage of it...
Stay Strong and Stay SWOLE!!!
MANdler
P.S. I had to freeze my nuts off and suffer what seemed a lifetime of pain
and humiliation at the hands of one of the best strength coaches in the
world....and I paid HANDSOMELY for it...You get it on the cheap with words of encouragement..lucky bastards!!!
P.P.S. Please, DON'T be stubborn with this...Just know that you may be
"comfortable" with your bench routine right now, but that's the same routine
that's NOT getting you the results you want. So do something about it!!!
