Herschel Walker workout...

Being born and raised in the south, the son of a Georgia Bulldog fan, I grew up hearing stories about not just how bad ass and dominant Herschel Walker was (and is to this day!!!), but more importantly HOW he became that way....
 
You see, Herschel never lifted any weights or went to any state of the art training centers.
 
Nope, he trained with just his own bodyweight...
 
Now before you freak out, know this, I acknowledge that he has ridiculous genetics and could have probably gotten much success with a weight training regimen as well, but you cannot argue with the results!
 
There are some out there that for whatever reason feel that bodyweight exercises are useless, or that to gain size or strength you HAVE to lift with an external load...
 
But I say BULLSHIT!!!
 
I've had tremendous success with bodyweight exercises and feel they should be just as much a part of the foundation of your training program as the bench, squat or deadlift...
 
As a matter of fact, you take away all my weights in the MAN Cave and make me use Mother Nature as my MAN Cave and I can pretty much promise you I'd be just as SWOLE...
 
You can't replace the Big 3....but you can focus on the OTHER Big 3....
  1. Push Ups
  2. Pull Ups
  3. Sprints
Do these in high volume like my boy Herschel does, and all of us at the MAN Cave, and you will be an ass kicking force to be reckoned with!!!

P.S. I'm not telling you to ditch the iron...I'm telling you to NOT ditch the bodyweight basics. Trust me, they deliver sick results when done with some intensity.
 
P.P.S. As I write this, Herschel Walker is probably on push up #1500 of the day getting ready to beat some ass in the cage...his body doesn't know the difference between body weight and db/bb weight, and neither does yours! Don't sleep on bodyweight exercises because you think they're for pussies, cuz trust me, there is nothing pussy about Herschel!!!
