Max Effort Lifts and Crossfit???

This past weekend in the Dirty Jersey I had the privilege to talk with 2 of the most well respected Crossfit Gym owners in the US (Zach Even-Esh from the Underground Strength Gym, and "Big" Neal Thompson from Crossfit-Boston)...
 
Now, whenever I talk with CF enthusiasts I like to get a feel for what their thoughts on building Maximal Strength in their core lifts are, and exactly how they go about doing so...
 
You see, many CF'ers fail to properly implement HOW they are going about increasing their Maximal Strength...
 
What they fail to realize much of the time is how vital Maximal strength is to improving their performance in their Standardized WOD's...
