So as you know, I've been getting through many of the standardized CrossFit lifts and WOD's and I get asked last night by a CF-er how much I could get on a "Thruster"...
Now, I've done "Fran" before, and as miserable as that was, never did I think how much I could lift as a "Thruster" 1RM...
So naturally, my curiosity got the best of me!
Knowing what I know about the relationship between max strength in the core lifts of Powerlifting & Strongman and the nature of this lift I figured "What the Hell? Let's find out!"
