Recently I've been talking a ton about recovery, and how focussing just as much if not more on this instead of just training will help accelerate your gains....
Well one of the key components of recovering from your training is proper post workout nutrition. And if you watch this video about post workout drinks you'd understand just how simple of an approach you can take to them with great success.
What you'll find out is that the real trick in getting great success from your protein shake isn't just what you put in there...
There are other important factors that will dictate the type you drink...

P.S. When I just started college and only weighed a mere 175 lbs., this is what my Post Workout Shake had that helped me gain weight FAST!!!
- 30-40 grams of Whey Protein Isolate (the more I weigh the closer to 40g)
- 10-20 grams of Casein Protein
- A LOT of peanut butter (2-3 tablespoons)
- A LOT of Honey (4-5 tablespoons...simple carbs are a MUST)
- Whole Milk (about 8-12 oz.)
- Ice (It's a shake...you OBVIOUSLY want it to be cold)
