WARNING: Training Toxins

What's Crackin' SWOLediers?!
We have all seen lists of common toxins
that get us sick as hell or even cause death
on all of the products we buy...
They have that skull and crossbones sign
that practically screams out "hey dummy,
don't do this"...
Well, unfortunately not all of us have those
signs at the gym, in the kitchen, or in life...
Sometimes we gotta do things that are just plain
stupid to figure out it isn't giving us the goods...
I know I did for more years than I wish to! So in
order to help prevent you from beating your head
against the wall I thought I'd share some exercises
that were flat out TOXIC to my goals...
1) Cable Crossovers: You do these to give yourself
sweet striations on your pecs so you can get all the
ladies right? WRONG!!!
Sticking with a variation of dumbbell presses and
bodyweight work in an intense fashion is what'll
deliver those striated and tear drop shaped pecs...
2) Leg Extensions: If you want separation in your quads
and avoid God Awful Chicken Legs, do these. NOT!!!
Front squats, lunges, step ups, sprints and sled work
etched the wheels I'm working with...Extensions made
me look blocky and had my knees aching!!!
3) Crunches: If you want that 6 pack you simply MUST
do 500 crunches a day (or is it 1,000?)...There's no denying
or disputing that right? Wrong again!!!!
All these will do is strain your neck, causes aches
and pains in your lower back, and tighten your hip
flexors if you aren't careful...
If you want chicks to want your stomach up against theirs,
you gotta rev up your metabolism so you can burn more
fat that is covering those abs up!!!
