The Truth About "Cardio"
Published: Fri, 02/14/14
Happy Valentines Day fellas!
Hope you've got your plans
on lockdown and you get
lucky without getting your
wallet too jacked up!
Anyway, in regards to you
getting the ripped up look
that puts you in pretty good
shape TO get lucky, I wanted
to share something with you..
The cardio you're doing could
be turning you into a fat@ss
instead of a bad@ss!!
I'm being dead serious here...
I read a study last night by the
European Journal of Physiology
that spelled out everything I've
been saying all along.
Long, boring, steady state cardio
that you do either right when you
wake up or after you're lifting isn't
doing what you may think it should.
You do it because you ant to get
that ripped up and chiseled look.
But what's happening in reality
are two things that are derailing
your goal of getting swole!
Here's the results they found after
average guys did 3-4 bouts of cardio
for 30 minutes after training and/or
right when they wake up:
~Lower levels of Testosterone (one
of your bodies most powerful fat
burners)
~EXTREMELY high levels of the
catabolic hormone Cortisol (the one
that comes in response to stress like
that in cardio and promotes fat storage)
~Muscle Burning instead of fat burning
to fuel yourself through the activity
~Decrease in speed of your Resting Metabolic
Rate that helps you burn tons of fat at rest
long after you've left the gym
Still think that cardio is going to get you that
ripped athletic physique that drops panties?
Better think again!
I'd go with the "resistance cardio" that
everyone at the MAN Cave is using to
get cut up and maintain their size and
strength instead.

"I'll never do cardio again! Thanks for
freeing me from that God Awful stuff
and introducing me to your "Finishers"
and Brick Sh*t House Training". It was
much faster and far more effective than
the elliptical I was using for the past few
years. Finally starting to see some lines in
my abs and it wasn't til I started using this
type of training. Cheers!"
