Plyometrics {3 Secrets for INSTANT Gains}
Published: Thu, 02/27/14
Cool thing happened to me
at the gym I do my Max Effort
work at...
One of the lifters that was a
newbie to serious lifting came
up to me and thanked me for
the tips I gave him a few months
back on how to use plyos in order
to see HUGE strength gains...
See when he first transitioned from
traditional bodybuilding workouts
into doing the "conjugate bodybuilding"
type lifting that is used in the "Swole
System"....
...the biggest roadblock he had to clear
was the ability to lift fast and explosively.
Instead of starting him on the dynamic
work that we traditionally use to increase
lifters explosiveness, I got him to start with
doing plyometrics.
That was in early December...
Today he told me that he made these
jumps in his core lifts:
~Squat [325 lbs --> 385 lbs]
~Bench Press [275 lbs --> 335 lbs.]
~Deadlift [355 lbs --> 405 lbs]
Here are the tips I hooked him up
with on how to incorporate plyos
to become faster and more explosive
with ALL of your core lifts...
1) Stick with low volume & ample rest
so as not to overwhelm your nervous
system and negate the big gains in speed
2) Use plyos that mimic the same movement
pattern for the core lift you're about to do
(ex. box jumps for squats & med ball throws
for bench press)
3) Do them at the beginning when your body
is fresh enough to adapt and accept the speed
gains that it will get
These tips helped my boy see lighting fast gains
and are guaranteed to do the same for you.
That was only one part of the equation
that made the big difference in his gains
though.
The other 2 parts are exposed in this
video:
---> "Get PRIMED!"
If you haven't checked this out already,
or put it to use, you're leaving easy gains
that you have inside you RIGHT NOW
on the table..
Don't let that be the case any longer...
