5 Lifting Rules I Wish I Knew Earlier...

If only I knew then what I know
right now...
 
DAMN! 
 
I'd be a force to be reckoned with!!!
 
I'd bet my balls it'd be the same with 
you too...
 
Cuz the fact is, ALL of us have left
serious gains on the table at one point
in time, and I'd say at least 75% of lifters
I see will always shortchange themselves!!!

Here are 5 rules I wish I had followed 
since Day One...
 
1) Strength Matters: I started out in bodybuilding
where the only goal was to get as JACKED and
RIPPED as possible...
 
Little did I know at the time that when you focus 
on getting stronger in the Squat, Bench, & Deadlift,
you build both size AND density
 
 
2) Intensity Matters: I used to treat my workouts 
as social hour (probably why my results sucked 
the big one!!!)
 
Now I know you gotta go balls to the wall with
your program to hike up your metabolism, and 
burn the fat necessary to have that shredded look...
 
3) Exercise Choice Matters: With bodybuilding, 
it was all about "isolation" exercises that only 
worked one muscle group...BIG MISTAKE!!!
 
When you match up high intensity with the 
superior "compound" exercises that work 
multiple muscles at once, you'll build more 
size & increase muscularity too.
 
4) Warm-Ups Matter: My idea of warming up
back in the day was running a lap around the 
track, waving a 2.5 lb plate like a dumb-ass,
and going right to my working weight on 
the main lift of the day...
 
The fact that I never tore any muscle was 
a miracle of god!!!
 
A solid warm up will help you recruit more 
muscle fibers for more growth & strength
potential, and keep you from snapping your
body in half!!! 
 
5) Sleep Matters: One of the secret weapons
that I used to NEVER tap into, but now focus
a shit ton on is quality and length of sleep time.
 
Getting 8-10 hours of solid sleep per night will
make you far more anabolic by releasing large
amounts of Growth Hormone into your blood 
stream for FASTER muscle gain & fat burning...
 
But the most important thing that I wished I knew
about earlier on in the game that you should look
into RIGHT NOW in order to get the most from
